"SOMETHING ABOUT SPRING"

There's something  strange about Spring this year.  

                     I was all set to talk about the joys of Springstime  ...
    however after peeking out of the windows I was very puzzled.
                                                             
                        What is all this white stuff?

                 I tried looking out  through tinted colored glass.

   
         It still looks like a snow blizzard  to me !!!

                                            Should I be confused?

                                               The calendar says that it is  
                                                  "APRIL".

                                                                   AND
                              of course 
           I  had chosen a Daffodil teaset in celebration of
                      our Springtime  gathering today.

Hmm-m-m-m-m-m-m-m

        It does seems that Lady April is full of tricks this year.

 We can still have a rollicking teatime,

Let us enjoy a "DIY Tea Factory" recipe called, Lemoncello. It is an organic artisan tea that is created in Quebec, Canada ... Although the factory advertises in French ... just viewing the site is a delightful experience. It quite easy to follow the ordering directions.

I buy the lemoncello online in a 3.5 oz. container which makes approximately fifty cups of full bodied flavor. The teas also come in larger quantities that are beautifully packaged and wrapped for a delectable choice of other tistanes flavors ... (www.thescg.ca )

" Ma Petite Fabrique " which means "My little Factory" really makes a lovely and inexpensive gift... I always enjoy receiving these teas from my daughter as she knows my taste.

    The brewing instruction have been engraved on the lid
             of the can, ( such a nice touch) and that makes it
                                          a user friendly tea.    

          The intoxicating essense of the ingredients( below)
         can be experienced even before it has been brewed
                                          ( SMELL)

This past two weeks, I have been recovering from 
 pneumonia, so Kim and I have been trying  to catch up on  belated birthday celebrations. 

                 Spring flowers are my favorites.
               Kim always buys tulips and daffoldils for my 
                                      March Birthday. 

             The pussywillows and daffodils are late this year, 
                   so this colorful bouquet of tulips definately 
                                     uplifted my spirits.

             Various friends gifted me with sweet ornaments,
                 chocolates( which I should not have eaten) 
                                 and a local historical book
                             
Since we live in an heritage home, it is a happy past-time keeping up with the community folklore and stories. Every once in a while, I come across some good old gossip to share( ha ha) but you can't tattle too much because everyone seems to be related. ( hee hee)

 I really enjoy gardening books, so my children keep me well stocked in teatime reading materials. I will surely have more than enough time to get through this gardening book before  Spring. ( Hum- de-dum )

I simply adore fresh flowers and can hardly wait to gather fresh buds from my own little  garden.

The way to my heart is a homemade lobster supper prepared by Hubby.

I am starting to feel a little spoiled ...( Tsk Tsk) I will just have to  grin and bear it !!!
